Meet the Boardrider
I began earning my boardriding stripes shortly after graduating high school in Oklahoma City. Circa 1999 four buddies and myself moved from our parents homes in OKC to Grandview Apartments in Encinitas, CA. By summer we learned to surf and had lots of adventures that I will someday chronicle on this very blog. I attended Mira Costa College in Cardiff-by-the-Sea from 2000-2001, then returned to Oklahoma City to regain residency and finish school in Oklahoma. Enrolling at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK in January 2003, I graduated in May 2006 with a degree in Mass Communications. Highlights of NSU were my term working for the college newspaper and my star turn as “Rocky,” in the Rocky Horror Show circa October 2005. I am currently living in sin in OKC with my girlfriend Amanda and our beautiful daughter, 10-month-old Veronica.
